Working with OMEN, The Berndt Group developed the user experience (usability, information architecture, graphic design and functional requirements) of a major prisoner intake application for the U.S. Government Bureau of Prisons. An important part of this project was the use of AJAX and other modern interface practices to reduce data input time, and also the creation of novel reporting processes that allowed for a broader and more flexible use of the system. We believe the interface and usability of this system to have been on the cutting edge of government application development. |
