The Berndt Group worked with Pitney Bowes Business Insight (PBBI) to create a new corporate web site in conjunction with its new brand roll out. Pitney Bowes unites two world-class software providers, Group 1 Software and MapInfo Corporation, to form a powerful new division - Pitney Bowes Business Insight. The Berndt Group worked on previous sites for MapInfo Corporation.
The Berndt Group worked with PBBI to develop the site in the ExpressionEngine Content Management System. The new site addresses PBBI's branding concerns about the new company formed by the acquisition and merger of MapInfo Corporation and Group 1 Software. The new site successfully markets the combined company and helps define aspects of its market at the same time.
The site also presents product content in a user-friendly way to guide customers to a conversion as products are not directly purchased on the site and up selling of product suites is preferred. Additionally, the new site features richer multimedia capabilities for product demos, evaluations and customer features. The homepage includes a content managed Flash feature.
