Berndt Group Announces New Director of Account Management

BALTIMORE, MD—The Berndt Group (TBG) announced that it has promoted long-time TBG Senior Account Manager Josh Fisher, to Director of Account Management at The Berndt Group.

Josh has been in the interactive industry as a project manager for over nine years, and he is a long-time TBG employee with a great knowledge of our business. He has led major projects, including TBG's 2011 redesign of the U.S. Government's largest medical-related site. We fully expect Josh to bring great improvements to our approach and to help TBG further optimize its business.

At The Berndt Group, Josh manages the company's account (project) management department, overseeing the company's web account managers. Josh and his team bring significant industry depth and expertise to all of our projects. Account managers at TBG are essentially web analysts as well as account managers, working closely with TBG's Web Strategy and Information Architecture team. Account managers at TBG focus on best practices as well generally having a very high level of engagement with clients when it comes to customer service, knowledge of project details and overall organization.

The Berndt Group is excited to welcome Josh Fisher in his new role at TBG; Josh joins a management team of six Directors at The Berndt Group.

About JOSH FISHER

Josh Fisher's background includes nine+ years of online project management, working with web sites for large corporations, industry trade publications, professional associations, and consumer eCommerce sites. Josh has led clients through web site redesigns, web application design and CMS selections with an eye on delivering the best solution, on-time and in-budget, to meet his clients' needs. Berndt Group accounts include CGI Federal, RWD Technologies, The Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), eInstruction/Interwrite Learning, Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Office of Government Ethics, National Council on Air and Stream Improvement (NCASI), Maryland Highway Safety Foundation, Mannington Floors and Fordham University. Josh has managed large-scale projects implemented in content management systems including CrownPeak, Ektron, Sitecore and Open Source systems including Umbraco, among others.

Prior to The Berndt Group, Josh worked at Cygnus Business Media, where he managed redesign and development projects for B2B web sites, focusing on the construction industry. There, he oversaw the launch of sites including KitchenBathDesign.com, ForConstructionPros.com, QualifiedRemodeler.com and SDCExec.com and managed a team of four Site Managers. Josh also managed a suite of eCommerce web sites for FLAX Art & Design, and has worked as a web editor, web producer and sales engineer for companies including Microsoft, Yahoo! eGroups and iSyndicate. Josh is a graduate of Williams College, where he majored in Art.

In his free time, you can find Josh on tennis courts around Baltimore, where he plays in several USTA leagues. He also gets his exercise chasing around his two-year old, Charlie!
